2019
Lynda's Events was founded in July 2019, under our legal company, Lynda's Perfection Creations LLC, with one simple belief: life's most meaningful moments deserve to be celebrated beautifully and without worry.
2020
Only a few months after opening our doors, the events industry came to a standstill. Having already left my career just one week before the shutdown, I found myself navigating one of the most uncertain seasons of my life. Rather than let that season define my future, I chose to prepare for it. While celebrations were paused, I invested in myself and in the future of my company.
2020 to 2022
During that time, I earned my Master's Certifications in Event Planning and Wedding Planning, became a Certified Design Specialist and Certified Florist, and continued strengthening the foundation of my business. I also expanded my business education through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and Power Up Your Business, an intensive small-business development cohort focused on strategic planning, financial management, marketing, operations, leadership, and sustainable growth. These experiences strengthened my knowledge, sharpened my leadership, and equipped me to build a stronger company and serve my clients with excellence.
2022
When celebrations returned in 2022, Lynda's Events was prepared to serve with greater knowledge, stronger leadership, deeper creativity, and an even greater commitment to excellence.
15 Plus Years
Although Lynda's Events officially launched in 2019, my professional experience spans more than 15 years in leadership, planning, coordination, project management, and organizational management, including roles within Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, churches, and community organizations.
Today
As our company grew, our brand evolved. While our legal company remains Lynda's Perfection Creations LLC, we introduced Lynda's Events as our public brand because it better reflects who we are, what we do, and the clients we proudly serve. Our name changed. Our mission never did.

Years ago, when a close friend's wedding planner was unable to fulfill their responsibilities, I stepped in to coordinate the entire celebration.
